LIRC Ambassador Spotlight: Ivica Jekić, LED Luks
As key representatives of LIRC member companies, LIRC Ambassadors are among the highest-visibility profiles in the Lighting Industry Resource Council on the global stage. They work closely with the IALD Region + Chapter Coordinators to engage with the local lighting design community, bolster communications, promote events, encourage networking, and promote the IALD and LIRC.
This edition, we shine the LIRC Ambassador Spotlight on Ivica Jekić, Business Development Manager with LIRC member company LED Luks in Slovenia.
With a strong background in engineering and a passion for innovative lighting solutions, Ivica Jekic brings a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to his roles. He leads sales efforts for high-end lighting products with LED Luks, targeting commercial and residential markets. Leveraging his deep understanding of lighting technologies and industry trends, he successfully cultivates relationships with key clients and drives significant revenue growth.
Throughout his career, Ivica has demonstrated a keen ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored lighting solutions that exceed expectations. His exceptional communication skills and technical expertise have enabled him to build strong rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
The opportunity for interpersonal communication drew him to the LIRC Ambassador role. He looks forward to working closely with the IALD Southern Europe chapter.
"I plan to promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry professionals, bringing together stakeholders from various sectors to exchange ideas, best practices, and insights," Ivica says. "Organizing networking events, webinars, or industry conferences to facilitate dialogue can create an environment in the region that brings lighting to a higher level in the construction industry and generates more work for designers and local manufacturers."
