Emerging Lighting Designers Have a Special Opportunity to Attend Enlighten Europe 2026
Lighting designers in the early stages of their professional career now have a chance to apply for a fully sponsored conference badge at IALD Enlighten Europe 2026 in Paris, France.
Through the Emerging Lighting Designer Initiative, individuals interested in attending their first Enlighten conference who are actively employed as a lighting designer and are within the first seven years of their career** can apply with the IALD to be sponsored for a complimentary registration to the two-day event taking place 18 - 19 June in Paris.
Each sponsored designer will receive:
- One full conference registration to IALD Enlighten Europe 2026.
Selected applicants will participate in the Lighting Cross Talk session as an opportunity to collaborate with design peers and exchange feedback with manufacturer representatives.
Applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants are encouraged to apply early, as program funds are limited.
Applications are accepted through the IALD digital platform. Accepted individuals will be notified by email.
** Eligibility is based on active employment and experience as a lighting designer not exceeding seven years (CV to be provided).
