IALD Education Trust 2024 Student Scholarships Open Through 26 April
The IALD Education Trust is thrilled to let lighting design students worldwide know that it has begun accepting 2024 student scholarship applications!
The application period closes on 26 April at 11:59 P.M. (Central US Time). University students in their Junior (third) or Senior (fourth) years and graduate students are eligible to apply.
The available scholarships for 2024 are:
- Lighting Design Alliance Scholarship. One (1) award is given annually to non-USA citizens enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate-level program in lighting design or a related field in any country. The annual award amount is $2,500 USD.
- Thomas M. Lemons Scholarship. One (1) or two (2) awards are given, each $4,500 USD renewable for a two-year maximum with proof of student status. Made possible by Available Light, Inc., the scholarship requires applicants to be Junior, Senior, or Graduate-level lighting design students at an accredited school in the United States, regardless of nationality. The annual award amount is $4,500 USD.
Please note that the scholarship application requires a letter of recommendation and a portfolio.
