THE NEXT GENERATION
OF LIGHTING DESIGNERS, learn2light

The IALD Education Trust developed a recruiting campaign capitalizing on social networking and Web 2.0 advancements to entice students into lighting design courses, and hopefully into the lighting design profession. Posters and collateral material have been distributed to universities on an international level, directing those interested to visit the learn2light.com web site.

Launched in October 2007, learn2light.com acts as a portal to various schools offering programs in lighting design.

Upcoming activities will include an increased focus on blogs and social community building, directing students to our information and providing opportunities for communication and discovery.
