THE NEXT GENERATION OF LIGHTING DESIGNERS : LEARN2LIGHT.COM

Launched in October 2007, learn2light.com acts as a portal to universities and colleges offering programs in lighting design.

The IALD Education Trust developed learn2light.com as a recruiting campaign capitalizing on social networking and Web 2.0 advancements to inform students about the lighting design education. The site has an overview of the schools that offer programs in architectural lighting design, lighting engineering or lighting science.

Posters and collateral material have been distributed to universities on an international level, directing those interested to visit the learn2light.com website.

Upcoming activities will include an increased focus on blogs and social community building, while also providing students with opportunities for communication and discovery.
