The IALD Education Trust is a 501(c) 3 charitable educational organization, and receives its primary support from the proceeds of the annual IALD Education Trust Benefit Dinner, and from direct contributions from members of the IALD and LIRC.

Your tax-deductible donation to the IALD Education Trust assists in our efforts to:

• Provide scholarships directly to students for the purpose of promoting the study of lighting design.
• Presents seminars to educate professional lighting designers, students of lighting design and related studies.
• Raise level of professionalism in the lighting design industry.
• Increase quantity and quality of schools teaching lighting.
• Produce and provide teaching tools for the purpose of educating professional lighting designers, students, educators and persons in related fields, concerning topics relevant to lighting design.
