IALD Internship Program - Employers

Our goal is to facilitate the development of the next generation of lighting designers through an internship program that continues your educational development through an entry-level professional position.

This program brings together IALD Student Members with some of the top independent lighting design firms globally. The mutual growth that will occur between students and employers will enhance lighting education and help to increase the opportunities for those students in the field of design and to promote the diverse opportunities associated with lighting design as a focused profession

This search and hiring process also replicates the "real world" experience of applying for and undertaking that first job in the field of lighting design. We hope you find this process rewarding on all levels. To begin the process of finding an internship opportunity, just follow the following steps.
